This is the queer educator meet up at the Equality Center, the kind of gathering built for people who'd rather sit and swap real classroom stories than mingle for show. Come as you are, no small talk performance required, and stay ten minutes or the whole hour, it's your call, sugar. The room fills with teachers who get exactly what your week looked like without you explaining it. Best time to go: walk in right at 5:30, grab whatever seat is closest to the snack table, and let the first conversation happen there instead of working the whole room.
